WeStory is a private social network. Unlike traditional platforms, your content is never public by default. Stories, videos, and transcriptions are only visible to the family members you explicitly invite.
No Ads. No Selling.
We do not sell your data to third parties or use your family stories to target advertisements. Our business model is based on providing value to you, not selling your family's history.
What we collect
To provide our service, we store the media you upload (videos, audio, photos) and the resulting AI-generated transcriptions. We also collect basic profile information like your name and email to manage your private family circle.
AI & Transcription Data
Our AI processes your voice and video files solely to provide transcription and organization services. We do not use your personal recordings to train publicly available AI models. Your spoken words remain your intellectual property.
Data Security
All data is hosted on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure (AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. We treat your family memories with the same level of security used for financial information.
Your Rights
You own your data. At any time, you can export your stories or request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated media. When you delete something on WeStory, we ensure it is purged from our active databases.
